Music Generation Louth, in association with Louth County Childcare Committee has recently launched its pre-school programme Music Matters. The aim of the programme is to support the development of music within the county’s preschools in the early years.
Our philosophy is that all children are born with inherent musical ability and have the right to a solid musical education that ideally starts in the early years when musical foundations are most effectively laid.
Music Matters is grounded in the approaches of Kodaly and Dalcroze Eurhythmics in which young children’s natural musical ability is developed through singing games and movement. More details are available by downloading the programme guide here.
